A home decor enthusiast like me would not mind a revamp on my home furniture. I like it unique and yet having that natural touch.

While this website has been turned into remnants of the WGTG Fashion, I would like to emphasize that it is not the end of WGTG Fashion at all. Sometimes, when I sit alone to daydream, I would always envision WGTG Fashion as a successful business enterprise. We may have a medical centre as a branch - nevermind about that, but the essence of WGTG turning into a business opportunity is definitely tempting and intriguing.

However, reality is to be faced, anyhow. The world of entrepeunership is never easy. From a healthcare point of view, I always think of the little details most business people tend to forget. Employers usually think of revenues, manpower hours and more business opportunities. However, as I study medicine in university, I tend to look into occupational health in more in depth.

So, here I was, thinking about WGTG Fashion enterprise. We cousins may not be fashion savvy but we definitely do have that 'cut' for some fashion-related business. In my wildest dream, I have this vision that we have a warehouse where we manufacture apparels. Let's just imagine - rows of sewing machines all across. We hire tailors to sew beautiful garments.

Let me bring you in more detail, at least from a healthcare point of view. The employees may suffer from repetitive strain injury, a very common complaint for people working long hours repetitively. From the employer point of view, that would cost quite a bit, medically. If we had a medical wing for WGTG, then it is fine. Subsidy can go from there. However, not every company owns a medical centre. Thus, at the end of the day, the employer has to foot medical bills for its employee. I believe the medical cost definitely escalates as the time goes by.

That is where employers should look into UK Accident Claim. Whether it is an insurance policy or a healthcare plan, there must be a very intelligent execution to give protection to both employees from the health and medical point of view and employers from the financial point of view. Just imagine this - the more accidents and health hazards claim they file, the more the employers lose in terms of monetary. In order to have a good balance between profits and health of the employees, there must be a good plan. That is why I believe that every successful employer should take accidents at workplace very seriously. Even if it means a fall due to the slippery floor or back injuries due to excessive hunching towards the machine. Every minute detail is important to look into.

Well, at the moment, I seem to the only one left who is still lingering at this blog. By the way, we have moved to our own domain so we shall not talk fashion here anymore. Get to our dot com to access to those fashion ideas we used to spill here.

Since fashion is no longer here at this blog, I believe that this blog should still live on. That is why I decided to come back here once in a while to write a post or two. May not be fashion-related, but always on various issues which may be beneficial to you readers still.

Today, my topic is focused on redundancy. We all know that sometimes we feel that our lives just feel 'redundant'. We may still be bumming around, watching the television, going online to chat, read some books and play a little tennis. Wait... does that not sound like yours truly?

I need a vision! A job! A career as a whole!!

So, today, if you are still bumming around at home, you should start taking more solid action. Do not just talk over and over again about your aspirations. Do not just get inspired. Be an inspiration yourself. You need to start somewhere. Start now today. Stretch yourself to the limits you may never even knew. Be flexible in your vocation. Learn about sacrifices. Think of a career as a whole, not just a money-earning job. Be focused and try to get something useful out of the career you are about to embark on.

Recently, I took that brave step to learn more about business opportunities. See? Who would think that a boring medical person like me would want to learn more about the various business opportunities. But I still took that step. Whether I do end up going into the business or not, it does not matter. What matters is that very step I took.

Same to you. If you find that job hunting on the daily newspapers a little hard, get online and find recruitment companies which can help you land a job. Whether it is Finance Jobs or IT-related, you must always try and take the first step. Remember that things do not come easy and rolling to you. You have to run and catch it.

Travel and adventure is a vast field. You can expect to find a wealth of things to do, places to visit and various aspects which you have never even thought before! Typically, most people plan their vacations in the usual way. They read about the common tourist attractions and plan for those places. Most people do not realise that they might have missed the other 'gems' of the particular place they are visiting. How sad it would be! Just imagine all the crowds buzzing to one particular place. You get all caught up in one place where you have seen on tv and read on the magazines.

How about travelling somewhere which is not the usual tourist attraction or travel destination? There are indeed many more alternative places where you can also spend valuable time with your loved ones. In the UK, for example, there are so many hidden gems which people tend to leave out when they plan their vacations.

Just take a scenario. You want to enjoy nature this Easter with your family members. You have seen most of the UK - those famous landmarks. However, you still would love to visit somewhere you have never visited before. How about getting a stay at those beautiful, full of history and tradition Northumbria Cottages? There are one of those places which are so good yet often being missed out. Majestic looking, scenic and breathtaking altogether.

This holiday, be a little different. Do not just follow what most other tourists do. Get the best value out of the travel you plan for. For a moment, you may feel that air of difference. A freshness in travel and adventure. At the end of the day, you still get to visit a new place and gain new experiences.

I finally know what I want

I have been wanting to get a pair of shoes but didnt know what type to get. It is something like I know I need another pair of shoes but I have no idea what I should look for.

A few days ago, I received a rebate voucher from Padini. Apparently, I have spent about RM 800+ in year 2008 and I am rewarded a RM 40 voucher (5% of RM800). With this voucher, I am actually more motivated to get a new pair of shoes. All of a sudden i realised that what I need is a pair of shoes that is not too flat/too tall. It is something that I am lacking of now.

With that in mind, I went shoe-shopping with Laura and found this pair. The height of the heels is just right - I have yet to think of when I shall use.

This EDT comes in a beautiful heart-shaped bottle and the cap is of a crown shape. It also has a ring that serves as part of the charm of the perfume. Unfortunately, the ring doesnt fit my fingers. I just found out that it is quite a big market out there for online shops selling fashion items. Some of them have got real good deals because they offer you more savings due to the reduced overhead cost when they operate from home.

Since, I am actually hunting for white long-sleeved tops for my upcoming BTN camp, when I saw this babydoll blouse, I decided to just give it a try. I realise that I might not get what I see. The model may have a good body shape and hence, when the item arrives, my disproportionate body may just not fit nicely.

I finally got my item via domestic express delivery this morning.. and decided to feature it here.

Well, the material is not too bad. It is not too thin and the cotton feels fine. However, my upper body doesn't fit very well as I am not busty in that area. The waist is just fine... I need broader shoulders or a bustier chest.

Alright, I am officially unemployed, jobless and pathetic. So one fine morning, I decided to practise putting eyeliner on my eyes for two reasons.

1. The eyeliner needs to be used or else I gotta throw it away.

2. I need to use the makeup remover I bought a couple of years ago. Expiring soon!

Thus, I played around trying to create a smokey eye look.

I went real thick and bold, since I must try to use as much eyeliner as possible. I have got two - one pencil eyeliner from Maybelline and another Silky Girl one. They are both black and cheap. After some fooling around, I decided to call it a day and went up to remove them with the Maybelline makeup remover.

Another ring?

It seems like we are very much into rings. Hehe...

During my recent trip to KL, I did not have the intention of getting a ring - previous year, I have every intention of getting a ring. This year, I just want to concentrate on the clothing. But how do I ended up buying a ring anyways?

My friend just finished purchasing some stainless steel necklace and I got her to look at the rings and we both ended up buying ring that has the same pattern. End of story.

So, anyways, this ring is made of stainless steel so it is supposed to be pretty durable. I believe the trend of wearing ring nowadays is of such ring - thick, heavy ring.

I bought this months ago, thinking I could wear it for the upcoming CNY. But guess what.

I gained enough weight to make me feel rather uncomfortable in this green piece. My sis helped me and she took quite some time to actually help me zip the dress up.

I still love it though. I like how it can go ruffled (as in, not ironed) yet still look good. I like the floral motive which isn't too elaborate yet not too simple either. It's green, hey! Go green! Pardon my environmentalist mentality of late. Maybe this is more of a Chrismasy dress instead. I am not sure. Let's see how.

Big ring with big prices

Sifting through the racks of rings on sale [yes, unfortunately, I sift through potentials according to price] in Claire's, I spotted a shiny big ring and picked it up. Placed it on my index finger, it fitted perfectly. The price was not shockingly unaffordable after the sale, therefore, it was purchased straight after.

This ring has 8 tiny diamond-like gems on each side, left and right of the huge mirror-glass gem in the middle. This gives a classy feeling to the wearer of the ring. Despite that, if it weren't on sale, I would not have even thought of buying it. Even though the gem is not real, it's still quite elegant.
As it is white and silver in colour, it can be easily matched with any outfits!
Though it looks heavy, wearing it contradicts that thinking, and all I have left to say is, I love it!

My friend made a suggestion that I should look for a top/dress that has the above style. She commented that I looks really nice in this kind of style and so, with this suggestion in my mind, I specifically searched for such style.

I found this in a shop that sells everything for RM 25 but there is no trying allowed. Good thing that this top is made of stretchable material so there is no worry for me to buy it without trying.

I will need to pair this top with a tube top as it does show a lot of cleavage when I wear it. I think that this is great for casual dinner occasion.

It teaches you some basic steps to draw your eye which I personally think has been a huge help!! The only prob I face is that the eye pencil colour will drop below my eyes after a few hours and gives me a horrible eyebag. Solutions anyone?

Well, I was told that you're supposed to change your eyeliners every 3 months or at most 6 months, and the same goes for mascara. WHY? Because you're drawing it very near to your eyes so it's not safe to have the product for a long time...might cause problems to the eye. It's just being caution but if you are using an eye pencil everyday, it'll be finished by 6 months at most.

Next - colour! This is charcoal grey. I'm still not used the colour yet but after a few days using it, it does seems to be really nice. Something different and it helps define the eyes! Another great product from Artistry - Amway!

Yes.. the consequences are clear - you get yourself in debt. Debts are the last thing ordinary people like you and I want to think of. Let's call it the 'worst case' scenario. So you have just overspent. You bought like ten tank tops of different colours, two pairs of your swimsuits, five new handbags, seven pairs of shoes, a new watch and three pair of denim trousers.

Next thing you find, the credit card has been overdued. You find your bank account running dry. Panic attack starts forming in your mind. How am I going to do pay off the debt I owe? I recently bought another tube of lash-lengthening mascara - As I was in the process of posting it, I realised that I did not post about the other lash-lengthening mascara that I have bought earlier.

Let's talk about the earlier mascara first.

This mascara is the proud product of Japan. It boasts of the ability to create instant fake long lashes and also easy-to-remove procedure.

True, it does (almost) instantenously create the longer lashes with its micro-fibers. It is quite easy to apply and after two applications (with a short wait in between for the mascara to dry a bit), I have pretty long lashes. To remove, it is easy, although a bit messy, by using only water from the tap. I would suggest using makeup remover for more complete and tidy clean. Surprisingly, it doesnt smudge easily (normal circumstances excluding excessive crying or going under heavy rain) despite of being so easily removed with water.

Mascara no. 2 is the proud product of Korea. My colleague's friend has imported some from Korea and I bought one. This mascara also promotes the longer lashes creation.

There is just something so interesting about having longer lashes. This mascara has a really cute outer design as compared to the Japan's sleek design. Its brush is slightly different than the Japan counterpart. I noticed that this mascara can magically curl and lengthen the lashes. Of course, this does not mean that you dont have to curl your lashes first before applying the mascara. It just merely curl it a bit... Apart from that, this mascara is waterproof and so, to remove it, you will need to use makeup remover but I was told that using facial wash is also possible to remove it.

Dorky glasses

I got this prescription glasses few months back but I hardly use them because of the habit of putting on contact lenses or simply utilising the older pair I still have.

The frame is plastic, thus you do not have to worry about it rusting or growing fungus. It is dark brown, so it fits most outfit; just that you tend to look a little dorky in this pair of glasses. I personally feel that the frame is a little too wide for my face, but beggars cannot be choosers, can they?

What I didn't show here is the inner side of the frame. It has quite a funky stripe-like pattern. My friends thought the pattern was real cool, but serves no purpose.. unless it is printed on the outer side. That is why I decided not to put it up here. Partly because I have no proper camera with me now, as well.

Slimming wonders

I know sometimes I just defy my own profession and principles when I fall for products that claim they can slim or tone you. But hey, I have been using ZA Wonder Shaper since 2005 or so, everytime I have the discipline to really use it, my arms feel more toned up. I do not know if it's a psychological thing but what is not against you should be for you.

I started on another product recently (will blog about that sometime later) but I think for arms (yucks to flabby arms!) I still think ZA Wonder Shaper does quite some wonders. One may think that it is because of exercise, but well, I think combining both exercise and this wonder shaper, you may even get a better result.

The last time I bought it way back in 2006, it was only rm39.90. I haven't been using for ages because I was reluctant to purchase it at any price higher than RM39.90. Today in Watson, I found out an even better deal - RM36.80!!

Camel-Yellow Heels

I have been wanting to get a new heels since...two or three months ago. Truthfully, I cant seems to decide on one. But, finally, I have bought one.

Initially, I was attracted to a similar pattern but in a different colour - grey. It is more classic-looking but unfortunately, the shop no longer has my size. After a short thought, I decided that the camel yellow colour isn't too bad.

The heels are about 3.5 inches high and surprisingly, it is quite comfortable to wear. I haven't try wearing it for a long duration so... we will have to see if it is still comfortable after two hours of walking in these heels.
This heels will serve as my special occasion shoes till I am able to, perhaps, shop for more shoes in my next shopping trip.

Well, it has been a while since I posted something here. I was racking my brain for something I can post about. Then it hits me that I just gotten this bag. Perfect opportunity.

It is a bag suitable to use to any sports activities. In fact, I was asked to use this to go to the gym. Unfortunately, I am not a gym-goer so... guess I will have to find other excuses to use this bag.

Big Bracelets

When I first put the bracelet/bangle on, I thought 'It's going to fall off easily" but I was wrong. It can reeach up past my elbow, so it can even be an arm band!

I agree with Sherp that Jane Norman is an amazing brand! I have fallen in love with a dress I found there, but could not buy.

I saw it through the window and decided to go in for a look. The material is absolutely soft and creates an image of 'angel'! The ends of the dress are so beautiful, not a clear cut but soft edgings. The top half of the dress has black beads that follow the line all the way to the straps of the dress. I love this one-of-a-kind dress. Too bad it was £40. I could only try it out, and one downside to the dress is that it is sort of see through, so be sure to wear skin coloured underwear!

My dream dress...!! By now, it might have been taken off the stocks until next season. Haih.

My friend and I walked into the mystical Jane Norman store in awe, feeling like little kids getting presents for Christmas, as we gawped and oohed and aahed over all the lovely tops and dresses. We grabbed one each and entered the changing rooms, anticipating for the transformation that the dress will bring unto us.

Jane Norman dresses are indeed, simply magnificent.

I chose a red-orange sensual dress with a roughened silk-like material that hugs the body shape tightly

It has flowery patterns stamped all over, giving its elegancy to the advantage of the wearer.

The hem of the dress is my favourite part, as it falls softly over the knees, not too long to be boring, and not too short to be skimpy.

I must say, this is one of the best-looking dresses I have ever come across!

I did my window shopping with a friend a few weeks ago. I thought this dress looks nice but the moment I put it on me, no way.. it's not nice on me. It made me look old. I think the dress is suitable for people who are taller than me. Short people should wear shorter dress to make them look tall, well at least that is what I think. I tried that for myself though, with a bit of help from my friends.

There are currently a lot of sale going on, for the summer. Hmm.. this is a good chance for me to go try and take photos. Hehehe..

I bought these costume jewelries quite some time ago; however, I always seem to forget about them. Poor pearls! It was just not long ago that I found them in one of the plastic bags in the cupboard.

They are not expensive and definitely make good accessories for the neck. Don them when you wear low-neck cut, tube tops or spaghetti straps. They come in long, so you can double layer around the neck, making it as if you're wearing two necklaces.

I am not really a bag person. My first bag was a Paul Frank bag, given to me as a Christmas present from my flatmate. =) I think I did post up the bag's photo somewhere in this blog. Anyway, since then, I started bringing handbags out wherever I go.

I would suggest get a bigger bag, for example this one above. Make sure you can put few purses, cameras, few phones and keys.

Beautiful feet

This is a pair of Per Una range of shoes from London, courtesy of the cousins! I didn't even know the pair of shoes were there until I found it in the storage site and I was like, "HEY, WHOSE SHOES ARE THESE??"

I was told it was for anyone who can fit into it. Sounds pretty Cinderella, don't you think?

I tried on, and voila, I could fit them just now!

What did I do, then? I brought them all the way to my uni to wear during clinical skills session. Tell 'ya, so many people complimented on this pair. Pretty pair!

Of course, not everything was fairy tale. The first day I wore the shoes, I had a deep cut on the posterior aspect of my feet. It was bleeding and the blood clot persisted for a week, at least. After the solitary incident, the shoes no longer gave me problem.

I love them so much I am thinking of bringing them over to London (fingers crossed!) and wear them over tights/stockings in the cold chilly winter days.

I cannot deny the fact that I am a fan of Yoon Eun-Hye. I have been a fan since...two years ago?

Apart from the Basic House t-shirt, I have also made a purchase in Korea that was influenced by her.

Before I went to Korea, about a few months before, I watched a two-part show by O'Live about Eun-Hye's trip to New York. Although I can't understand a single thing that she said in the show since it is all in Korean, I enjoyed looking at her fashion and the places that she went.
Anyways, as I was ~~window-~~shopping at DongDaeMun, I saw the hoodie that she wore in the show. I recognise the hoodie the moment I saw it. The guy selling the hoodie is quite friendly and I did haggled a bit on the price. I knew that it will quite useless for me as Malaysia is a warm country and so no point having a hoodie. But I bought it anyways.

As I was walking along the streets of Seoul, I was always looking for the familiar stuff. Stuff that I have always seen on the internet... Korean brand.

I went into 'Banc', a Korean brand that seems to be worn by a lot of Korean stars. Erm... There was a 50% discount but the price is still quite pricey for me. Not worth it...

Then, I was very excited when I saw "Basic House" because their ambassador is Yoon Eun-Hye (the girl in red checked shirt in the pic below) and I admire her.

Truthfully, because of it is autumn and my personal style, the women clothing is either too thick or too feminine for me. Instead I looked through their casual t-shirt and found this one t-shirt that I am satisfy with and the price is something I can accept.

One thing I noticed when I was touring Seoul is the flawless skin that the Korean girls have. I heard that the flawless skin is due to a few reasons such as the weather, the food (kimchi, people. kimchi!) etc...

Then, there is also this BB cream. BB cream has a few functions in one bottle: makeup base, foundation, sunscreen, etc... It depends on what type of BB cream that you buy.

Anyways, the tour guide brought us to this duty free cosmetic shop and we were introduced to several make-up items that they think are the best. One of the things that they recommend is BB cream.

However, I didnt purchase the BB cream they recommend. Too expensive for me. Instead, I bought another BB cream in the shop that is loads cheaper. One of the obvious difference that I notice of this BB cream and the one they recommend is the SPF. The one I bought is SPF 10 while the one they recommend is SPF 40. -.-

So far, I have used it twice. It does give me a bit of the blemish-free face... Erm, I cant fully see the effect because I had an outbreak on my face when I returned from Korea. Must be the weather shock/pollution shock. Hehe...

T3- Mycin - it's topical Clindamycin gel 1%, a gel for the pimples! Ok, what is Clindamycin - it's a kind of antibiotic and it works for the acne caused by bacterias. I've used it and it's effective...to some extend! Just apply it twice a day and you'll see the pimples disappear.

Any drugs has it's side effect, even for topical ones, so got to be careful not to over-use it and also look out for allergy. If there is any allergy reaction, stop at once!

Ah! It has been a while since I posted something. Erm... maybe not so long but it has been a short while. Hehe... Anyways, I have been to Seoul recently and back with a few stuff to show off. :p

First of all, an amethyst scorpion locket. This locket is dual-purpose, you can use it as handphone deco thingy or attached it to a necklace and use it as a locket. Oh! The reason why I chose to buy a scorpion locket is because my horoscope is Scorpio. :D

Bought this from an amethyst factory outlet. This locket, I believe, uses the low grade crystal so it is quite cheap. Why do I say low grade? Because real amethyst cost loads of cash.

I've tried hundreds of face cleanser and I cant say this is the best but it does make my face feels cleaner! ahah...
Another product from Amway - Artistry's Clarifying Foaming Cleanser. I didnt consider to buy it because I always feel that any cleanser will cleanse the face, but when I used it during the summer holiday at Xuan's place, it really reduces my pimples! Of course it'll be best to use the whole range - toner and moisterizer...

It's going to be summer soon in NZ so it's common to see people wearing dress tube or tube around. Well, of course it's still cold because of the wind. But anyway, that wasn't my point.
It's not really a long tube dress enough so I think you still need to wear shorts or mini-skirt.

The Overalls Look

I've always thought that only little children wear overalls and never have been very fond of them. The other day in London we were staying in a place close to Central London so my mother and I took the opportunity to shop in the glamorous streets of Piccadilly Circus. We passed by United Colors of Benetton and that's where I got this pair of overalls.

At the top where the buckles are fastened usually, it's an open-ended piece of material used to tie onto the metal loop to adjust the length of the strap. The sides dip low, so it is advised to wear a long top. These overalls do not have shorts underneath, it is sort of like a dress.

After that we went to a really fashionable clothing shop: Uni Qlo
I went to buy this long-sleeved green shirt to especially suit these overalls. I have yet to try another style - wearing short-sleeved or sleeveless tops to match. For now, I'm sticking to the green shirt!

It's FittingRoomSpy. OK, I cant remember the name that we gave. We - Jas, Xuan and I, when we went snaping pictures in fitting room with the outfit that we try. Some, well, most, we didnt end up buying because of the style, or it was too $$.

Here is one that I saw in my camera - really nice. Honestly, I love the dress (brown) but it's not worth buying because in Russia, *cold* and hardly get the chance to wear such beautiful dress.

Beside the brown dress, is the beautiful polka-dots dress with black cropped jacket/cardi. To my opinion, it looks very decent!

Necklaces come in "different shapes and sizes" and there's a lot of unique ones out there, waiting for someone to own it, waiting to beautify someone's neck.

Okay, that description may not sound very engaging to you readers, but the point I am getting to is that different people like different types of necklaces, right? You have the beady ones, or the string necklaces, or chained necklaces made of gold or silver, etc...

I received a surprise gift of a (silver/stainless steel) necklace from my 2 best friends, whilst on holiday with them to HongKong.
One of them had said, "We are quite interested in gothic jewellery recently, so we thought we'd get you into it as well"

All I can say is, who wouldn't love this necklace?

The reason why I wrote "silver/stainless steel" is because it is meant to be made from silver, as they bought it in a silver store, but on the pendant itself, it wrote "Stainless Steel 316L"
